The AquaBioTech Group, one of the National Champions of Malta 2015/16 at the European Business Awards, will as from today compete for the title of ‘National Public Champion’ in this year’s European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM, as the public vote opens for the first time.

The European Business Awards were created to recognise and promote business success and support the development of a stronger business community throughout Europe.

The European Business Awards engage more than 32,000 businesses from 33 European countries.

Competing against all other country National Champions for the public vote, the company with the most votes will be named ‘National Public Champion’ for Malta on the 7th March 2016. Last year the public vote generated over 170,000 votes from across the world. The first phase of the online voting is open from the 11th January to the 26th February 2016.

George D. Mantas, Business Development Manager at AquaBioTech Group says: “With just over seven weeks for people to vote online for their favourite company, we are hoping that the public will watch our video and vote for us. The public votes means a great deal as it is both the business community and the society giving their approval to our success. So we ask everyone to take some time to watch our video, which gives a powerful insight into the story of our business and its success and vote for us. ”

The company has posted a video online at http://www.businessawardseurope.com/ . The audience can also cast their vote from the link.

The AquaBioTech Group was established in Malta in 1998 and employs over thirty staff at its Malta facilities, as well as a number of personnel in other countries. Over the years the company has established itself as one of the leading aquatic consulting, development and research entities with clients and projects in over fifty-five countries.
